A short walk from your cabin will bring you to the banks of Soda Butte Creek where chairs and a firepit await your need for relaxation (and s’mores!!!). The firepit faces Duffy Meadows Conservation area giving you an excellent view of nature rather than structures. The wildlife of the area seem comfortable wandering through this quiet location.
Soda Butte Creek is a beautiful creek which, when entering Yellowstone National Park to the west, flows into the Lamar River which is well-known for excellent fishing. With a Montana fishing permit, fishing is allowed in Soda Butte Creek, but can prove rather challenging at times. You are welcome to fish from the property.
Also provided on the premises are your own gas grill (adjacent to your front porch), and a picnic table out under the trees in front of your cabin. Grilling utensils are included in your kitchen.
